Job description

The Product Manager position plays a pivotal role in the implementation and communication of the marketing tactical plan for the injectables business. Working as a team with the Injectables Senior Manager, the Product Manager contributes to outlining the timelines and expectations, ensuring that the tactical programs are agreed on and delivered on time. The Product Manager ensures the effective implementation and roll-out of the Pan-medical education programs into all markets. He/she is considered a member of the injectable team and participates in business reviews.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Support (B2B & B2C)

  1. Support the Injectables unit senior manager in implementing local tactics plans in line with regional strategy, to be agreed with regional sales managers for implementation in the respective country.
  2. Establish a thorough understanding of the promotional campaigns and materials across the portfolio to ensure proper implementation and efficiently support the approval process.
  3. Work closely with the injectables senior Manager to define execution and delivery of all promotional programs/materials in line with the annual tactical plan.
  4. Coordinate and follow-up on campaigns implementation with sales supervisors/managers.
  5. Ensure that central promo/marketing materials are routed through the right functions where appropriate and follow up regularly for approval until final certification.
  6. Source promotional field activities (workshops, group meetings, etc.) as required, identify potential suppliers, obtain estimates, and decide on the most appropriate and cost-effective supplier to use.
  7. Organize roll-out of the promotional items and marketing materials to the sales force then coordinate materials feedback.
  8. Work closely with regional sales supervisors/managers to ensure that sales teams in every market know what material to implement and how often the campaigns will be changing.
  9. Working closely with the injectables senior Manager to organize and communicate with the team the induction training course details and other educational programs as needed.
  10. Support and collaborate with the marketing team to conduct market research for both B2B and B2C whenever needed.
  11. Help in planning and execution of the medical training and education programs in all countries and coordinate it with all stakeholders.
  12. Join sales team in field visits to make sure that the product/s is properly positioned, and right message is delivered.
  13. Run periodic product knowledge revision for the teams across the region.

2. External Sponsored Meeting Support

  1. Stay in contact with key speakers and product advocates who are invited for IMDAD meetings and training.
  2. Ensure that the database of all speakers is up to date.
  3. Arrange speaker invitations for regional as well as local events.
  4. Liaise and coordinate with the corporate marketing team (when needed) for central event organisation ensuring that all logistics are taken care of.
  5. Liaise and coordinate logistics with suppliers’ attendance at a centrally sponsored meeting.
  6. Provide on-site logistical and product information support/assistance during events as required.
  7. Monitor the promotional budget to maximum effect (ROI), to deliver top and bottom-line objectives.
  8. Track the promotional budget to ensure activities budgeted on country level come in on budget.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical science or any scientific related degree.
  2. 5-7 years of Sales and/or Marketing experience in aesthetics injectables is essential.
  3. Successful track record in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  4. Knowledge of HA market dynamics is a must (Fillers’ experience).
  5. Knowledge of medical education and hands-on training programs in aesthetics is essential.
  6. Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
  7. Bilingual (Arabic and English) is a must.

  2. Skilled communicator, able to build relationships and engagement with internal stakeholders and prospective clients and KOLs.
  3. Ability to work individually on assigned tasks as well as working well in a team environment and help team members in busy times.
  4. Strong personal management skills including time management, workload prioritization, and responsiveness.
  5. A completer/finisher with excellent attention to detail.
  6. Flexible self-motivated individual.
  7. Strong communication skills, fluent in English (written & oral).
