Product Manager
Job description
Role Summary:
- Responsible for the Payment Cards Product Portfolio.
- Manage the lifecycle of existing products and drive the development of new products (Cards and Issuance Solution).
- Define and maintain the product roadmap.
- Oversee the development, industrialization, certification, procurement planning and ensure complete sales readiness for the products.
- Responsibilities include staying current with product and service trends.
Main Accountabilities:
- Define the product strategy for new products in the product line.
- Align with the sales organization on new market trends and train them on new products.
- Work with external third parties to assess partnership and licensing opportunities.
- Collaborate internally with R&D, technical support, procurement & planning, and marketing to develop new products.
- Create Business Plan, go-to-market strategies, promotion plans and understand market requirements for both existing and new products.
- Understand market competition and stay up to date with customer requirements.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers, manage the supply chain, and review products and services for purchase.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Experience, Knowledge & Technical Skills:
- At least 3-5 years of experience working as product manager or innovations manager.
- Understanding of the payment ecosystem.
- Experience with EMV (payment cards and issuance solutions) strongly preferred.
- Firsthand experience in product, project or program management.
- Structured way of communication and working.
- Able to work with different teams with different priorities.
- Dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation skills.
- Experienced in handling international stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and PowerPoint presentation skills.
