Product Lead

As we expand our team, we are seeking a Product Lead to join us in shaping the future of mobile technology.

What You’ll Do

1. Product Management: Define business and product requirements for payment gateways and solutions. Lead cross-functional teams to execute product plans and deliver results. Serve as the Product Owner for the development team, ensuring the successful definition, delivery, and iteration of product capabilities.
2. Project Management: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, manage escalations, and make trade-offs between business needs and technical constraints to meet, and ideally exceed, partner expectations. Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and execute key functionalities.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across SevenRooms, especially within Finance and Operations, to secure buy-in for product initiatives and set clear expectations.
4. Payments Product Ownership: Research and analyze customer requirements, operational needs, competitive offerings, and revenue-generating opportunities related to payment activities. Evaluate these insights against market trends and technical capacity to prioritize a comprehensive Payments vision, while also supporting incremental improvements with existing payment gateways.

Who You Are

1. 4+ years of product management experience, with at least 6+ years of experience in B2C or B2B SaaS Payments or a related field.
2. Solid understanding of payment analytics and the ability to evaluate the impact of roadmap items on transaction revenue.
3. Experience working with executive-level stakeholders and clients, including managing expectations, facilitating discovery, and successfully delivering product offerings.
4. Proven track record of delivering successful payment-related products, including defining vision, strategy, outcome-driven roadmaps, and managing product backlogs.
5. Ability to quickly grasp a specific client domain and identify trends and opportunities within that space.
6. Curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on continuous improvement and creative thinking.
7. Experience building solutions that directly impact transaction revenue, or knowledge of transaction pricing models. Familiarity with payment players, the payment ecosystem, and foundational systems is essential.
8. Experience in the hospitality industry (restaurants or hotels) is a plus, but not required.
9. Open-mindedness and flexibility in testing new approaches, with the ability to leverage failures as learning experiences and turn them into successes.
