Job description

Working as a Product Development Coordinator for our own brand, you will drive the product lifecycle from concept through to delivery, working closely with internal teams and external partners to bring timely, high-quality products to market. This role focuses on supporting the creation of innovative, premium products and combines hands-on coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic administrative support to ensure a seamless and successful product development and launch process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on market trends, materials, and emerging technologies to inform and support product development decisions.
  • Stay informed on industry standards, innovations, and best practices to ensure our products are competitive, high-quality, and aligned with market demands.
  • Facilitate fit and wear tests, gathering and analyzing feedback to ensure products meet the highest standards of comfort, functionality, and quality.
  • Coordinate closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to oversee production progress, monitor quality, and adhere to timelines, conducting quality assurance checks at key stages to ensure all standards are met.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement from a project management standpoint by leading weekly or bi-weekly meetings, sharing performance and ROI reports, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and documentation for all product development activities, ensuring all milestones are met within scope.
  • Partner with internal teams such as marketing and buying to provide technical product information, enabling successful product launches and cohesive brand messaging.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth collaboration throughout the development process.
  • Travel to factories and supplier locations as needed to monitor production quality and timelines, ensuring all deliveries align with planned schedules.
  • Track accountability across various teams (e.g., Creative for content and imagery, Commercial for launch plans and performance metrics) to ensure project success and consistent communication.
  • Collaborate directly with key executives, including the CEO, Director of Brand & Creative, Buying Director, and Business Development Director, to align own brand development with overall business strategy and objectives.

  • Previous experience dealing with factories when it comes to sourcing products.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can execute.
  • Can bring in value and influence based on experience.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoys collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Business acumen, can review numbers and see sales opportunities, and understand margins.
