Job summary:
We're looking for a Product Designer to join our team and help shape the future of our mobile and web applications. If you have a passion for design systems, data visualization, and health tech, this role is for you.
We are seeking a self-motivated designer who loves solving complex UX challenges, thrives in an autonomous role, and is passionate about health tech.
Key responsibilities:
Design Process
- Lead the entire design lifecycle, from problem framing and discovery to ideation, prototyping, validation, and delivery of high-fidelity designs.
- Place research and validation at the core of your process by planning, executing, and actioning user research to champion the voice of the user.
- Conduct discovery activities with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams, running design sprints, ideation workshops, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
- Develop clear, effective wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to articulate design concepts.
- Iterate quickly in response to feedback, balancing creative vision with technical feasibility to deliver scalable solutions.
Design Systems
- Own and enhance our design systems across iOS, Android, and responsive web, ensuring a consistent and scalable design language.
- Design intuitive graphs, dashboards, and complex data representations to help users interpret health data effectively.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in all aspects of design, ensuring solutions meet WCAG and usability best practices.
- Continuously explore emerging technologies, design trends, and best practices to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the team.
- Share insights through presentations, workshops, and other learning sessions to elevate the team’s design knowledge and foster a culture of learning.
- Present your work and articulate design decisions clearly and confidently to a range of stakeholders, from engineers to clinicians.
Job requirements:
- At least 4+ years of experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms.
- A strong portfolio showcasing data visualization, complex information design, and mobile/web application UX/UI.
- Experience working with and evolving design systems across iOS, Android, and responsive web.
- Strong experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research and translating insights into actionable designs.
- Proficiency in Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
- Experience facilitating design sprints, ideation workshops, and other collaborative problem-solving sessions.
- Ability to pivot quickly, iterate on designs, and balance creative vision with technical feasibility.
- Passion for designing for accessibility and ensuring usability for all users.
- A proactive, confident, and effective communicator, able to clearly articulate design decisions to different stakeholders.
- A keen interest in health technology and solving complex data problems to improve patient outcomes.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with wearable devices, biometric tracking, or electronic health records (EHRs).
- Ability to craft clear, concise microcopy to guide users effectively.

- Collaboration - how you worked with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
At least one (1) project showcasing:
- Design system work - how you’ve evolved or contributed to a design system across multiple platforms.
- Data visualization - an example where you designed dashboards, graphs, or complex data-heavy interfaces.
