Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Application Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of production chemicals used in upstream oil and gas operations. This role involves providing technical support, optimizing chemical applications, and ensuring the effective use of production chemicals to enhance oil and gas production. This role will be covering the MENA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to clients and internal teams regarding the application of production chemicals in upstream operations.
  • Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the use of production chemicals, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to chemical applications in the field.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with R&D teams to develop new production chemical products and improve existing ones.
  • Field Trials: Design, coordinate, and oversee field trials to test the efficacy and performance of production chemicals in real-world conditions.
  • Training: Conduct training sessions for clients and internal staff on the proper use and handling of production chemicals.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, performance data, and client interactions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all chemical applications comply with industry regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the application of production chemicals in upstream oil and gas operations, including field trial experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong technical knowledge of production chemicals and their applications.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific production chemicals used in upstream operations.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role.
