Procurement Specialist

Located in Hot Springs, AR

Description:

• Backshop leads send part list that need to be ordered to the Procurement team. Team gets request added into ERP system will bill of material.
• Download request into Excel sheet, go to market with various approved vendors and get pricing.
• Will do trace docs on every part vendor provides to see who built it and where part originated from.
• Try to get as many parts from the same vendor if possible, but they would like to get multiple quotes come back. Always try to get OEM and 3rd parties. Once product is sourced, send information over to CSR reps. Customer service will quote product price to customer.
• Once they get the quote agreed upon, candidate will purchase part with best lead time and cost.
• Issue PO when they get ready to purchase part(s).
• Ensure vendors are approved for requested part and type of work (usually do that when they are sourcing parts).
• Send new vendor survey. Keep quality department on email.
• If vendor meets requirements, Quality department will verify if vendor is certified, and then they get marked as an approved vendor.
• Follow up with parts supplier for any issues/defects on incoming parts.
• 2+ years of Procurement experience, has experience with a regulated environment highly preferred, Aviation/Aerospace ideal.
• Excel experience with formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience working within an ERP system. Quantum or Component Control preferred.
• Tracking/tracing place of origin for sourced parts.

Shift:

• M-F, 8a-5p.

Pay:

• $22-$25/hr.

Duration:

• DIRECT PLACEMENT.
