About The Role:

As a Home Decor Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in creating procurement lists, managing the purchasing process for materials, equipment, and services needed for renovation projects. You will work closely with clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, all while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare material lists and quotes for clients, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information.
• Meet with clients and sign contracts to finalize material and service procurement agreements.
• Work with the design team to develop mood boards that reflect the style, themes, and materials for renovation and home decor projects.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on material selection for home decor, including furniture, fabrics, finishes, and accessories.
• Source and evaluate suppliers of materials, equipment, and services for renovation projects.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring the best pricing and terms.
• Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure that renovation projects have all necessary resources on time.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers and other internal teams to understand procurement needs and timelines.
• Analyse market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage payment processes.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier interactions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar purchasing role, preferably in the construction or renovation industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Experience working with mood boards to assist design and procurement decisions.
• Experience in selecting and advising clients on materials for home decor, including furniture, finishes, and accessories.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and results-driven mindset.
• Own vehicle and valid UAE drivers licence.
