We are currently seeking a meticulous and driven Procurement Officer to manage our procurement processes, ensuring that all goods and services are acquired in a cost-effective and timely manner.
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for overseeing the procurement cycle, from identifying needs and sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships. This role is critical in ensuring that Driven Properties maintains its high standards of efficiency and quality in operations.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and assess procurement needs across various departments, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements
Research and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors to establish effective procurement channels
Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company while maintaining quality standards
Manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications
Track and monitor inventory levels, maintaining optimal stock levels to support operations
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that procurement processes align with project timelines and operational needs
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance data
Implement and adhere to procurement policies and procedures to promote fair, transparent, and competitive practices
Resolve any procurement-related issues or discrepancies with suppliers in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
A minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the real estate or construction industry
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sharp attention to detail
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Knowledge of market trends and best practices in procurement
