Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Officer at Nordic Seascape Shipping LLC in Dubai. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for handling purchase orders, contract negotiation, and utilizing analytical skills in the procurement and purchasing process. The role is to ensure that the vessels, workshops, shipyards or other clients are supplied with authorized stores, spares and other products in a timely manner and at approved costs consistent with Company Quality and Purchasing policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective deals.
2. Coordinating and managing the progress and delivery of orders, resolving any discrepancies.
3. Establishing professional relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
4. Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
5. Documenting all activities and maintaining an up-to-date database.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Must have at least 1-2 years of Procurement Experience in the Maritime Industry.
2. Must be in the UAE.
3. Purchase Orders and Contract Negotiation skills.
4. Experience in Procurement and Purchasing.
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
7. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
8. Relevant degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Experience: Procurement Officer in Marine Industry: 5 years (Required)
