• Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead our procurement department and optimize our sourcing and purchasing processes. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that all purchases align with our company’s goals and quality standards. This role is essential in supporting our commitment to excellence in serving various industries by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the organization’s objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance and support in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • -Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements and ensure alignment with production schedules and project specifications.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast material needs to prevent shortages and reduce excess stock.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing fluctuations.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.

• Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Materials Engineer degree is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and practices related to procurement and supply chain management.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
