Job Description:

We are looking for a procurement manager for developing and maintaining the sales of Agricultural commodities (such as grains, oilseeds, pulses, edible nuts) - industrial raw materials, fertilizers, livestock, animal feed ingredients & aquaculture.

1. Develop and execute strategies to build new relationships with producers, suppliers and customers whilst maintaining existing ones to drive business into new markets.
2. Manage and mentor employees to drive forward success and achieve key company objectives.
3. Engage in market research to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
4. Manage the establishment of the trade department, formulate work plans and relevant budget, and take full charge of daily management of the department.
5. Manage import and export business processes.
6. Handle contracts, letters of credit, and shipping documents independently.
7. Collect and analyze important industrial data, exploring domestic and foreign markets actively and effectively.
8. Sign, manage and execute bulk commodity trading contracts, as well as deal with relevant business matters.
9. Participate in business development and negotiations, including daily communication with important clients.
10. Manage internal documentation as well as assessment, training, rewards, and remedy of personnel within the department.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Minimum of 10 years experience in trading/sales of Agricultural commodities (such as grains, oilseeds, pulses, edible nuts) - industrial raw materials, fertilizers, livestock, animal feed ingredients & aquaculture.
2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Agribusiness, international trade, international finance, and other related disciplines.
3. Familiar with international settlement, laws and regulations of import and export, with professional knowledge of trade management and related skills.
4. Strong sales background within GCC and international markets with a proven track record of developing a profitable book.
5. Excellent team leadership and coordination skills, strong communication & negotiation skills.
6. Ability to work well independently and adapt to the environment.
