Position: Procurement Manager
Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement efforts across construction and fit-out projects. This role requires strategic sourcing expertise, market knowledge, and the ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts that align with project requirements and company goals. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient procurement of high-quality materials and services at the best possible price while maintaining timelines and project budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project requirements and company objectives.
  2. Source and manage supplier and vendor relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
  3. Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
  4. Coordinate with project managers and site teams to forecast material needs, optimize ordering, and avoid delays.
  5. Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify trends and pricing strategies.
  6. Monitor project budgets and timelines, providing timely updates and cost-saving solutions.
  7. Implement inventory control measures to reduce costs, optimize stock levels, and avoid material shortages.
  8. Evaluate supplier performance regularly and address any issues related to quality, pricing, or delivery.
  9. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
  10. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and industry standards in all procurement practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 10 - 15 years of procurement experience in the construction and fit-out industry.
  3. Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in managing large-scale procurement for construction projects.
  4. In-depth knowledge of local and international suppliers and markets within the construction and fit-out industry.
  5. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  1. Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  2. Proactive and solution-oriented approach to procurement challenges.
  3. Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and industry standards.
