Procurement Executive

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading Packaging & Engineering solutions company in the UAE. Our client is seeking a Procurement Executive responsible for sourcing, negotiating costs, establishing credit terms, and purchasing raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and other items. The role's primary objective is to ensure timely delivery while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify procurement needs, categorize requirements, and develop material specifications to ensure cost, quality, and delivery efficiency.
2. Source product samples, gather supplier documentation, and present for approval based on specifications.
3. Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate bids, negotiate terms, and recommend suppliers.
4. Negotiate pricing, payment, and delivery terms, and establish long-term discounts with suppliers.
5. Issue purchase orders to the most cost-effective suppliers and ensure compliance with delivery terms.
6. Collaborate with the Purchase Manager to assess and engage current and new suppliers.
7. Select reputable contractors and manage the renewal of maintenance contracts.
8. Oversee contract performance, ensuring delivery, warranties, and compliance with terms.
9. Prepare supplier performance reports, conduct market surveys, and seek better products and pricing.
10. Coordinate with departments to review procurement needs and implement feedback.
11. Organize the disposal of obsolete materials.
12. Monitor contract status and resolve payment or contractual issues promptly.
13. Provide technical, legal, and commercial input to enhance procurement systems and processes.
14. Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Food Safety, and Environmental standards (QHSE/ISO).
15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records.
16. Stay updated on industry trends and recommend relevant systems and upgrades.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the packaging industry.
2. Experience with Oracle Fusion is preferred.
3. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
