Procurement Executive

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement strategies for procurement that are cost effective agile to suit market changes and with a quick turnaround time
• Ensuring to develop build and foster a network of vendors/ suppliers
• Negotiating with vendors and suppliers to get favourable terms timely supplies
• Execution and follow up of the PO placed to the point of shipment.
• Manage technological systems that track the shipment inventory and supply of materials
• Prepare daily weekly and monthly procurement reports
• Ensure adherence to all safety health and environmental rules and regulations
• Partner with Commercial and Operations to contribute to Bids and Tenders
• Contract management and conducting assessment of suppliers
• Sourcing from Africa locally China and India. Primarily for yellow goods plant and machinery project purchases and process plants
• Keep abreast of changing industry trends

Education & Experience

• Graduate / BBA / MBA in Material Management or Supply Chain
• 8 12 years of experience in a similar role in Industrial and Manufacturing Goods
• Has worked in procurement and supply chain management
• Handled Multi geography
