Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and select suppliers and subcontractors, specializing in fit-out materials and services, to meet project requirements
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms
• Develop and manage procurement schedules to align with project timelines, ensuring materials and services are delivered on time
• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in compliance with company policies and project budgets
• Oversee cost control processes, monitoring prices, quality, and availability to ensure the most cost-effective sourcing
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and design teams to align procurement with project specifications and requirements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, supplier performance data, and delivery schedules
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and quality standards in procurement practices

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or Procurement Management
• Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement within the fit-out or construction industry
• Strong understanding of procurement processes specific to fit-out projects, with a network of reliable suppliers and contractors in the UAE
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple suppliers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with project teams
