Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Understanding the technical data and specifications that a designer or technician requires
2. Communicating equipment needs to the supplier
3. Evaluating supplier options
4. Negotiating with suppliers on points like price, schedule, quantity and packaging
5. Evaluating vendors and procurement strategies for efficiency and value
6. Reviewing legal and contractual responsibilities for both the supplier and the company
7. Facilitating communication between company stakeholders, managers and other team members regarding technical procurement
