Procurement Engineer

Job Description:

• Must have experience in the defence industry.
• Must be residing in the UAE.
• Must have experience in at least two of the following areas: hydraulics & pneumatics, electrical & electronics, or mission systems.
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in related field.
• Experience in engineering, procurement, and operations.
• Proficiency with personal computers and networking, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in identifying cost reduction opportunities.
• Experience in analyzing bills of material and drawings to understand key requirements.
• Knowledge and direct experience in negotiating contracts and quotations with Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers.
• Military experience in a contingency environment and knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desirable (Engineering, Business, Contracts, or related).

A Master’s degree or MBA Diploma in a related field will be advantageous.
