Update and maintain comprehensive Project Supplier Lists, ensuring accuracy and relevance to project needs.
Input all progress data into the Material Management System, ensuring real-time and accurate updates.
Develop and nurture contacts with Suppliers' personnel, upholding ethical standards and corporate policies.
Maintain a professional reputation with Suppliers through adherence to a code of conduct and business ethics.
Stay informed about the materials supply situation, including area sources, price levels, and current deliveries.
Contribute insights into current and projected price and delivery trends when requested.
Provide valuable input to decision-making processes regarding procurement strategies.
Execute spare parts coordination activities in alignment with the Project Procurement Plan.
Manage, direct, and support supply chain activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Accountable for the successful setup and delivery of all project supply chain processes, procedures, and activities.
Prepare and issue the project-specific procurement plan and/or contracting strategy, aligning it with project scope and incorporating computerized systems.
Establish and manage the project/procurement status report (PSR), adhering to project/client on-site dates and lead times.
Conduct regular PS meetings with client, procurement, engineering, and project management personnel to maintain pre-order deliverable dates.
Facilitate communication between Discipline Engineering and vendors and other required stakeholders to drive and enhance procurement.
Work closely with the engineering, project management, and procurement teams to enhance procurement up to expected standards.
Oversee procurement activities, including communications with ADNOC approved vendors, negotiating terms and conditions, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Maintain procurement schedules, conducting commercial evaluations and cost analysis and identifying any cost-saving opportunities.
