Procurement Director – Real Estate

Our client, a leading real estate organization, is seeking an experienced Procurement Director – Real Estate to lead and oversee procurement activities. This key leadership role requires deep expertise in procurement packages, a strong understanding of government workflows, and a background in Real Estate and Facilities Management.

As part of the organization’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the Procurement Director will play a crucial role in driving sustainable procurement practices, selecting suppliers that align with green building standards, and ensuring supply chain sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic, sustainable procurement initiatives for real estate and facilities projects.

• Manage procurement packages, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and sustainability goals.

• Oversee sourcing and contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and ESG principles.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline procurement processes.

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, workflows, and sustainability mandates.

• Coordinate with project teams to support the full construction and facilities management cycle.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• CIPS certification (or equivalent) is a plus.

• 12+ years of experience in procurement within real estate and facilities management.

• Extensive experience working with developers in the UAE (UAE experience is a must).

• Exposure to government organizations is an advantage.

• Experience in driving sustainable procurement practices and working with eco-conscious suppliers.

• Strong negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in managing and developing procurement teams.
