Procurement Director

The Director of Supply Chain Management position is to provide strategic leadership and direction for the organization's entire supply chain function.

• This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive supply chain strategies to drive efficiency, minimize costs, and optimize processes across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
• The Director plays a pivotal role in aligning supply chain activities with overall business objectives and ensuring seamless integration with other functional areas.
• Business Growth:
• Oversee strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations to optimize purchasing decisions and ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Drive cost reduction strategies, value engineering efforts, and supplier consolidation initiatives to achieve savings targets and improve overall procurement efficiency.
• Evaluate market trends, supplier performance, and industry dynamics to identify strategic sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Client Experience:
• Cultivate strong relationships and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including senior leadership, functional heads, and business units to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
• Engage with external stakeholders, industry associations, and peer networks to stay abreast of market trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain management.
• Team Management:
• Attract, develop, and retain top talent within the supply chain organization, fostering a culture of learning, diversity, and inclusion.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance the skills, competencies, and capabilities of supply chain team members.

Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• 15 years of experience.
• Industry: Facilities Management / Projects / Technical Consulting / Real Estate Management / Community Management / Construction.

• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
