Job description

**Please note: Foodservice industry experience is mandatory**

1. JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for the procurement of product and services for Indoguna Dubai LLC. Other areas of responsibility include price negotiation, inventory control, quality control and management of supplier relationships.

2. CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Sources suppliers for products and services as required.
  • Manages and maintains supplier database
  • Regularly checks supplier prices against same/similar products available
  • Work closely with supplier to optimize supplier processes
  • Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance
  • Liaise with Supplier for short shipments, spoiled or damaged products

System Management

  • Input new product descriptions. Update changes in system to packaging or UM
  • Regularly review product costings in system

Management reporting

  • Maintain complete and accurate record of purchases including purchase orders, purchase invoices and purchase returns
  • Provide inventory movement reporting as requested

Compliance

  • Maintain updated information regarding import rules and formalities

3. JOB TASKS

  • Support International and local purchases.
  • Format and implement proper documentation for all purchases.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and get the products at best price.
  • Co-ordinate with all the sales manager for the orders.
  • Follow up with suppliers for short shipments, spoiled and damaged products.
  • Maintain complete records of purchase orders, purchase invoices and purchase returns.

4. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in Foodservice industry mandatory
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Procurement and/or supply chain department in a foodservice company
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead business decisions during supplier collaboration
  • Tech savvy, with excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency on MS Excel and MS Office suite in general
  • Proficiency in any ERP and inventory management system
  • Power BI experience preferred
