Job description
  • Coordinate and manage the procurement process for goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and pricing.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that arise.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with supplier selection and qualification processes, including conducting site visits and audits.
  • Manage inventory levels and procurement budgets to optimize cost savings and minimize risk.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support cross-functional teams in achieving procurement objectives and delivering value to the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Familiarity with supplier evaluation and qualification methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
