The Ideal is specialized in CAPEX (Capital Expenditures) focusing on optimizing the procurement process for high-value, long-term investments such as machinery, infrastructure, construction projects, and large-scale equipment. His / Her role is critical in ensuring cost efficiency, supplier reliability, risk mitigation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Tasks >
- Define procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and budgets.
- Assess make-or-buy decisions for capital assets.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and value improvement.
- Conduct Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs).
- Use Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to assess supplier bids.
- Develop and negotiate long-term contracts with suppliers.
- Manage risks related to pricing, delivery timelines, and supplier reliability.
- Implement cost reduction strategies such as bulk purchasing, supplier consolidation, and value engineering.
- Implement e-procurement tools and ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa).
- Collaborate with finance, engineering, and operations teams to align procurement with project goals.
- Evaluate vendor reliability, quality, and compliance.
Requisites >
- Consulting attitude and experience in Consulting Tier 2-3.
- Previous experience in Procurement projects.
- Arabic Speaker preferred, English also working well.
- Interested in a very challenging context to work with.
Full-time, Abu Dhabi, on ground.
