Job Description

1. Category Management

• Manage vendor performance and supplier relationships.
• Issue and complete Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
• Lead negotiations to secure optimal pricing and terms.
• Execute Purchase Requisitions (PR) to Purchase Orders (PO).
• Oversee contract execution and compliance.
• Provide input into budget pricing and cost forecasting.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
• Support innovation by sourcing new materials and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with competitive bidding and procurement policies.

2. Operational & Administrative Tasks

• Manage PRs received through SAP and ensure timely processing.
• Align procurement activities with the company’s competitive bidding policy.
• Obtain competitive quotes for non-contracted items.
• Ensure accurate PO execution and documentation.
• Assist in resolving invoice/payment discrepancies.
• Support the clearance department in managing documentation for imports and follow up on demurrage claims.
• Handle supplier claims and contract renewals or tendering processes.
• Monitor contract expiry and proactively manage renewals or new tenders.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Sciences.
• Minimum 1-2 years of procurement experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and execute procurement strategies efficiently.
