GAC Marine operates from our fully-equipped marine base in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our comprehensive offshore marine support includes anchor handling, project cargo transportation, platform supply, crew changes and supplies, rig moves, and tug & barge operations. Operations are supported by our growing fleet of anchor handling tug supply vessels, anchor handling tugs, crew boats, tow tugs, barges, utility vessels, and landing craft.

Our expert crew, maintenance, and other land-based staff are at hand to facilitate short turn-around times for class surveys, repairs, and maintenance.

Job Title: Procurement Analyst

GAC Marine is looking for the right person to join our team as a Procurement Analyst to be based at the Abu Dhabi marine base. The Procurement Analyst will play a critical role in enhancing procurement efficiency and visibility through performance management and content management activities. This role involves leveraging tools like Microsoft Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams to develop dashboards, manage procurement content, and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Performance Management: Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and Excel to monitor procurement performance metrics (e.g., cost savings, supplier performance, contract compliance). Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with procurement teams to establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Generate insights and present actionable recommendations to senior management through reports and presentations. Monitor supplier scorecards and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Procurement Reporting: Develop and maintain procurement reports and dashboards for management review. Support the completion of strategic review and reports.
• Content Management: Maintain procurement documentation, templates, and workflows using Microsoft SharePoint and Teams. Ensure all procurement content is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Create and manage visually engaging PowerPoint presentations to support procurement training, meetings, and stakeholder communication. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless content sharing and collaboration. Assist in developing and updating procurement policies, guidelines, and training materials.
• Process Optimization: Support automation initiatives to streamline procurement reporting and content workflows. Collaborate with IT and procurement teams to integrate data from various sources, ensuring a comprehensive view of performance. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and drive innovation within the procurement function.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Professional qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Data Analytics is preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and performance metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present data effectively to diverse audiences.
• Proficient in maintenance management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and possibly specialized marine software.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, data analysis, or a similar role in the Maritime, Oil & Gas, or Shipbuilding industry.
