Job summary
MISSION:
Responsible for managing engineering disciplines, specifically process engineering, with a proven track record of working with ADNOC standards. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery.
TASKS:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing direction, mentorship, and support.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies, plans, and schedules to achieve project objectives.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Oversee the engineering activities for EPC/EPCI onshore and offshore projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and ADNOC requirements.
- Monitor and control engineering budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables meet quality standards and comply with ADNOC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of engineering processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify, mitigate, and manage project risks.
- Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and specifications.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide comprehensive progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Address and resolve engineering issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred. Certification in Project Management is highly desirable.
- 15+ years of experience relevant experience in managing engineering disciplines for onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
- Proven track record in leading and managing engineering teams in EPC/EPCI projects.
- Previous experience with ADNOC standards and regulations;
- Fluent level of English, written and spoken.
