Job Opportunity: Lead Process Engineer Sewage Treatment Plant

Are you an experienced process engineer with a passion for innovative and sustainable engineering solutions? A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for a Lead Process Engineer to join their team in Dubai, UAE.

• Location: Dubai, UAE
• Salary: AED 40k - 50k per month

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will oversee the planning, design, and development of advanced sewage treatment processes within a large-scale facility. This includes incorporating the latest technologies, leading multidisciplinary teams, and delivering impactful projects that enhance community sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, preliminary, and detailed design of sewage treatment solutions.
• Oversee process development for advanced treatment and odor control systems.
• Prepare technical reports and evaluate alternative treatment solutions.
• Manage drafting teams and ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables.
• Design and model activated sludge systems, particularly in high-temperature environments.
• Contribute to the design and upgrades of large-scale municipal wastewater treatment plants.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in sewage treatment projects.
• Expertise in primary, secondary, and advanced sewage treatment processes.
• Proven track record in designing and modeling activated sludge systems.
• Experience with large-scale municipal wastewater projects is essential.
• Prior Middle East experience required; UAE experience is highly preferred.
