Process Engineer

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or Process Engineering.

Chartered Engineer status (e.g. IET, EUR Ing, PEng) is an asset.

EXPERIENCE:

6-8 years of experience in the power generation industry, especially Thermo-solar.

Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing CSP power plants.

SKILLS:

• Proficient in Matlab/Simulink, and exposure to one of the following 1D-3D simulation tools (e.g. GT, STARCCM+, ANSYS Fluent, etc)
• Proficient in Process Simulation Packages such as Aspen Hysys, Aspen Plus, Thermoflex, PRO II
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Exceptional communication skills and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, diverse environment.
• Ability to prioritize actions and work within a diverse team
• Project management skills and planning and organizing skills
• Field engineering experience, including startup and commissioning
• Working knowledge of processes including steam systems, compressed air systems, boiler and chiller plants, and power generation.
