Process Engineer

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or Process Engineering.
2. Chartered Engineer status (e.g. IET, EUR Ing, PEng) is an asset.

Experience and Competency

1. 6-8 years of experience in the power generation industry, especially Thermo-solar.
2. Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing CSP power plants.
3. Proficient in Matlab/Simulink, and exposure to one of the following 1D-3D simulation tools (e.g. GT, STARCCM+, ANSYS Fluent, etc).
4. Proficient in Process Simulation Packages such as Aspen Hysys, Aspen Plus, Thermoflex, PRO II.
5. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
6. Working knowledge of processes including steam systems, compressed air systems, boiler and chiller plants, and power generation.
