Process Engineer

Basic Functions:

• Carry out process engineering work on the assigned project under the supervision of the Lead Process Engineer.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• 10 - 15 years experience in oil and gas.
• Preferably with offshore wellhead/process platform experience.
• Knowledge of process engineering design, including understanding process documents such as process descriptions, process data sheets, PFD, and P&ID.
• Process simulation using Hysys/Unisim and flare load calculation using Aspen Flarenet.
• Become fully familiar with the scope of work, monitor changes to scope, and raise change notifications.
• Liaise with PMT and other Discipline Engineers on the project as directed by the Lead Engineer.
• Responsible for preparation/checking of the following key deliverables, applicable as per the Project scope:
• Process simulations/heat and material balance.
• Process design basis.
• Piping and instrument diagrams.
• Safe charts.
• Process safeguarding diagram.
• Operating philosophy and operating manual.
• Equipment and instrument process datasheets.
• Equipment list.
• Line list.
• Flare radiation and dispersion calculations.
• Depressurization and flare network study.
• Equipment and line sizing calculations.
• Fluid lists.
• Maintain an efficient filing system for easy retrieval of documents in close coordination with the Lead Process Engineer.
• Assist the Lead Process Engineer in IDC.
• Liaise with drafting for drawing development.
