Job description – Process/Business Analyst

Process Analyst – Process Transformation & Continuous Improvement

Process Transformation & Optimization:

  1. Analyze end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  2. Drive large process transformation programs by collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  3. Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to develop and implement process improvement initiatives, ensuring measurable business impact.
  4. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop corrective and preventive action plans.

Process Mapping & Documentation:

  1. Create detailed process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workflow diagrams using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or BPMN software.
  2. Maintain and update process documentation to reflect changes and improvements accurately.
  3. Ensure alignment of process documentation with compliance, regulatory, and business standards.

Data-Driven Analysis & Performance Monitoring:

  1. Leverage data analytics to assess process performance, identify trends, and develop key performance indicators (KPIs).
  2. Use statistical tools (Minitab, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau) to measure process performance and evaluate improvement outcomes.
  3. Design and implement dashboards for real-time tracking of process efficiency and effectiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management:

  1. Work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and leadership to understand process pain points and improvement opportunities.
  2. Facilitate process improvement workshops, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping (VSM) sessions.
  3. Support change management efforts by training teams on new processes, tools, and best practices.

Lean & Six Sigma Implementation:

  1. Lead Lean and Six Sigma projects, driving DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and Kaizen methodologies.
  2. Conduct training and mentoring sessions to develop process improvement capabilities across teams.
  3. Ensure continuous improvement culture adoption across the organization.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt / Black Belt) – Required.
  3. Additional certifications in Business Process Management (BPM), Agile, or Change Management (e.g., Prosci) are a plus.

Experience:

  1. 12+ years of experience in business process analysis, optimization, and large-scale process transformation programs.
  2. Proven experience applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes in industries such as manufacturing, finance, healthcare, or IT services.
  3. Strong experience using process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, ARIS, Bizagi, Lucidchart).
  4. Hands-on experience with process automation tools (e.g., RPA, workflow automation, BPM tools) is a plus.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  1. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), Minitab, Power BI, Tableau, SQL.
  2. Strong statistical and analytical skills to interpret process performance data and drive data-driven decisions.
  3. Knowledge of business process modelling and notation (BPMN) frameworks.

Soft Skills:

  1. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  2. Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Ability to lead workshops, drive discussions, and influence decision-making.
  4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience:

  1. Experience in Agile methodologies and working within Agile teams.
  2. Familiarity with process automation, robotic process automation (RPA), or AI-driven process improvements.
  3. Experience working in a regulated industry (real estate, finance, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, etc.).
