Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial modeling, market research, and competitive analysis.
2. Deal Sourcing: Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and intermediaries to source new investment opportunities.
3. Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment theses, valuation analyses, and scenario planning.
4. Market Research: Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to inform investment decisions and strategies.
5. Portfolio Management: Assist in monitoring and managing portfolio companies, working closely with management teams to drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
6. Reporting: Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal review and discussions with the investment committee.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members to support the execution of transactions and enhance the firm's investment strategies.

Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
2. 2-4 years of experience in private equity or investment banking - must be with a top tier PE or bulge bracket IB in London/US/Canada.
3. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
