Job Description

• Diagnose and troubleshoot printer malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various printer models to extend their lifespan.
• Install new printers and configure them to work seamlessly within the existing network infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on proper printer usage and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and inventory management for efficient operations.
• Stay updated on the latest printer technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical insights on printer products and solutions.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to assess client needs and recommend appropriate printer solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations while performing repairs and installations.
• Manage customer relationships by delivering excellent service and addressing concerns promptly.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in electronics or computer technology is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in printer repair, such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent, are highly valued.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in printer repair and maintenance, preferably in a technical support role.
• Experience with various printer brands and models, including laser, inkjet, and multi-function devices.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts to configure printers within various environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot printer issues efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and reliability.
• Physical ability to lift heavy printers and equipment, and perform tasks in various environments.
