Printer Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot printer hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various printer models, including laser, inkjet, and multifunction devices.
• Install and configure new printers and peripherals, ensuring they are integrated into existing networks seamlessly.
• Manage inventory of printer supplies, including toner and paper, to ensure clients have necessary materials on hand.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on proper printer usage and maintenance to enhance user experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and providing timely solutions.
• Document all service activities and maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Stay updated with the latest printing technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve network-related printing issues effectively.
• Assist in the development of preventive maintenance schedules to prolong the lifespan of printer equipment.
