WSP Middle East is seeking a highly skilled Principal Resident Engineer Electrical who will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical engineering projects within the ADDC or AADC domain. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are executed according to specifications, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Your new role, what's involved:
- Define Electrical Engineering strategies and undertake feasibility works across numerous project types in UAE.
- Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
- Undertake project documentation reviews and checking in accordance with QA procedures.
- Lead the project and undertake line manager responsibility for the project supervision team.
- Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.
- Ensure the right resources are utilized effectively at the right time in projects, including engaging with the Complimentary Resource Centers (CRCs) to ensure that communication and design and review processes are continually improved and achieve required targets with expected quality.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as a Resident Engineer Electrical in large infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Experience and proven ability to lead and manage an engineering team in multi-disciplinary projects with teams based across multiple locations around the globe.
- Dynamic and like to challenge the norm by finding new and innovative ways to get work done without compromising on quality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of local and international construction codes and regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- AADC or ADDC experience is mandatory.
