Job Purpose
Guide the development, implementation, and execution of engineering programs as well as ensure that governance, oversight, and control of these programs are in place to support safe and reliable Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) operation.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
- Provides governance and oversight of the NDE.
- Provides technical support regarding NDE for all units.
- Interfaces with industry on NDE issues.
Required Experience
- Experience in manual UT and PDI examination.
- Experience with Automated UT conventional and/or PAUT and TOFD examinations.
- Experience in MT testing.
- Experience in PT testing.
- Experience in VT testing.
- Experience in ECT testing and QDA SG examination.
- Experience in RT testing preferable.
- Familiar with the ASME Code V and XI, B31.1 and B31.3 standards.
- Familiar with the CP-189 and SNT-TC-1A qualification scheme.
- Familiar with EPRI guidelines.
- Experience in Nuclear application, radiation exposure area experience preferable.

Qualifications
QualificationMin: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
QualificationMax: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
- ASNT Level III in NDE methods preferable or In-house Level III as minimum. Other methods to support experience shall be at least Level II.
- PDI qualification preferable.
- QDA qualification preferable.
- Minimum College diploma.
- NDE instructor diploma preferable (to meet the ASME XI, IWA-2380).
