The role As a Principal Professional Services Consultant you will lead the technical design and implementation of custom location intelligence solutions. With a customer-centric focus, you'll scope, design, and execute projects that address client needs and business objectives. You will closely partner with the Sales and Pre-sales team. Combining technical expertise with client engagement, you'll ensure solutions are aligned with customer goals and delivered to the highest standard. Working autonomously within a consistent global operating model, you'll also know when to escalate critical issues to support project success.

Key responsibilities

1. Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and provide technical guidance.
2. Scope and design end-to-end location intelligence solutions tailored to customer needs, integrating HERE products and services.
3. Drive project execution, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring alignment with customer objectives.
4. Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to guide clients through solution adoption.
5. Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Solution Architects, Solution Engineers, Product) to ensure solution alignment and successful implementation.
6. Produce essential project documentation, including solution design documents, project proposals, and implementation plans.

Fluent in both English and Arabic, you ensure each interaction strengthens the client relationship, supporting their success with a customer-centric mindset.

• 5+ years of experience in geospatial technologies (GIS, navigation systems, location-based services) with proven project implementation success.
• Solid experience in customer engagement, requirements gathering, and delivering technical solutions within a consulting or professional services setting.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting/programming (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including Agile, DevOps and CI/CD methodologies, along with database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis) and big data framework experience.
• Experience with Big Data frameworks (Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop, etc.) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and strong familiarity with HERE products or similar location intelligence platforms.
