Principal Instrumentation Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Reports to the Engineering Manager
2. Manage the instrumentation and controls engineering, design and EPC team
3. Single-point responsibility for all instrumentation and controls engineering deliverables and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the customers policies and procedures
4. Ensure that the overall project is delivered to meet the asset operational needs
5. Provide direction and guidance on all technical queries relating to instrumentation and controls engineering
6. Participate in all project safety and design reviews as necessary
7. Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule
8. Liaise with the customers Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion
9. Promote safe behaviour at all times
