Principal Instrumentation Engineer

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Instrumentation and Telecom Engineer to oversee the instrumentation and telecom engineering activities on-site for a large oil and gas project.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed design specifications and system architecture for Instrumentation Control and Safety Systems.
2. Responsible for detailed design and coordination of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with standards and effective project management.
3. Develop and review engineering documents for electrical and instrumentation systems, prepare specifications, manage vendor documentation, and monitor project progress.
4. Design and develop control logic programs, implement engineering changes, and integrate third-party systems.
5. Lead procurement and installation of fire and gas detection systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
6. Ensure compliance with international standards through inspections of electrical, instrumentation, and telecom installations.
7. Oversee instrumentation, control, and telecom engineering activities, ensuring compliance with standards, while mentoring junior engineers and managing project integration.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, particularly in the oil and gas, chemical, or manufacturing industries.
3. Professional certification in instrumentation engineering.
4. Strong technical and communication skills.
