Principal Engineer Air Power

Job Description

Provide an in-house project management and systems engineering capability to support the propulsion development programs of the Air Power Department.

Undertake design and support work throughout the life-cycle of the system under development, for all phases of:

1. Conceptual design
2. Preliminary design
3. Detail design and development
4. Manufacture
5. Production
6. End-use support
7. Phase-out/disposal

Perform precise engineering calculations using theoretical methods as well as computational simulations.

Project Management

Work with suppliers to produce high precision and quality designed components within the schedule of the project. Organization of engineering arrangements to meet the objectives of the department.
