On a given day, you will:

1. Architect and implement cutting-edge data processing systems that handle massive transaction volumes
2. Design innovative solutions to complex data challenges, balancing performance, cost, and maintainability
3. Lead the implementation of a unified data layer that serves as the backbone for all our applications
4. Mentor and guide engineering teams across multiple domains
5. Pioneer new approaches to data mesh architecture and real-time data processing
6. Create effective data pipelines with comprehensive monitoring capabilities

5. Have a proven track record of optimising large-scale distributed systems
6. Bring strong knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements
