Job Description

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Science (MBA Preferred).
- Experience working with Telcos and Enterprises.
- Experience leading high-performance teams in a matrixed environment.
- Relevant business development/sales experience.
- Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope.
- Able to travel an average of 6 days per month with a peak of 10 days per month.
- Technology experience in telecommunications, satellite communications, wireless space.

Amazon's Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Kuiper has over 1,000 engineers building our satellite constellation and is building out the global Sales and Solutions Architecture teams around the world to help solve customer problems. Kuiper's Solution Architects are trusted advisors, working to connect Kuiper's cutting-edge technology with a wide variety of our customer's business problems. You will have the opportunity to help shape Kuiper's product and early customer engagements and develop scaling mechanisms as the team expands. This position is focused on Telco and Enterprise customers across many industries, over a wide variety of use cases in the Middle East Region.

This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Influence strategy for Project Kuiper with specific focus on Mobile Network Operators and Enterprise Customers.
  2. A curious self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory, learning new concepts, and pushing your comfort zone.
  3. An effective multi-tasker who navigates a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with grace and efficiency.
  4. Excellent at creating and maintaining working relationships across all levels and disciplines, receptive to feedback and input from others, and quick to apply changes.
  5. Work with internal subject matter experts to gather information, synthesize business and technical concepts, build strategic business metrics, and write original content that drives decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
  6. Experience working in start-up mode building products and services from the ground up.
  7. Implement business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders.
  8. Manage complex contract negotiations and complex business requirements and activities which deliver results.
  9. Adept at thinking strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.
  10. Action-oriented, detailed programmatic approach to implement complex programs and strategic initiatives with customers.
  11. Consistently exceeds key performance metrics and delivers results.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  2. Established track record of building rapport with customer executives (e.g., CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO), building close relationships, and closing large revenue accounts, ideally across multiple industries.
  3. Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners. You've not only carried quotas; you've consistently exceeded them by doing the right thing for your customer.
  4. Experience in a heavily matrixed sales environment, including developing, implementing, managing, and executing cross-functional solutions-led go-to-market growth initiatives and sales motion.
  5. Deep understanding of telecommunications and/or satellite communications space.
  6. Technical background in electronics engineering, computer science.
  7. Recognized industry expertise in primary discipline(s) with proven public speaking and media prowess.
