Primary Teacher

Some specific responsibilities will include:

1. Contributing to the school community and our drivers of Safe, Respectful and Ambitious.
2. Planning for outstanding teaching and learning, in line with the school's Teaching and Learning Policy.
3. Creating a positive and creative atmosphere for learning that is conducive to outstanding practice.
4. Collaborating with peers on planning, ensuring opportunities for all students to achieve and make good progress.
5. Making effective use of assessment and feedback that impacts on individual student improvement and ultimately their achievement.
6. Ensuring effective use of digital tools and technologies in lessons to enhance learning opportunities and progress.
7. Maintaining records and assessments of students that inform next steps that can be shared with parents in partnership with the school, impacting on students' achievement.
8. Maintaining a restorative approach when addressing behaviour concerns in line with the school's Behaviour Policy.
9. Keeping up-to-date with current practices through the provided school CPD schedule, ISP Learning Hub, and your own professional opportunities.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate in their application or at interview:

1. 2 years full-time teaching experience either in the UK or in a British Curriculum school.
2. Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and current assessment practices.
3. Experience of using data systems, student tracking, intervention, Target Setting, Assessment, Recording & Reporting.
4. A desire to be outstanding in teaching and learning.
5. Prepared to establish strong partnerships with our parents, enabling our students to succeed.
6. To collaborate and support whole school initiatives and the school improvement cycle.
