Job Overview:

We are seeking an innovative and data-driven Pricing Manager to lead our product pricing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, marketing, and economics, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective pricing strategies for digital products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute product pricing strategies that align with our product portfolio, market positioning, and revenue goals.
  2. Conduct in-depth market research to understand competitor pricing, customer willingness to pay, and market trends for similar products.
  3. Collaborate closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to align pricing with product features, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.
  4. Analyze product performance data, customer feedback, and sales metrics to inform pricing decisions and optimize price points.
  5. Lead pricing for new product launches, working with cross-functional teams to determine optimal introductory pricing and promotional strategies.
  6. Develop and maintain pricing models for different product tiers, bundles, and subscription plans (if applicable).
  7. Monitor and forecast the impact of pricing changes on product demand, revenue, and profitability.
  8. Implement and manage price testing initiatives to validate pricing hypotheses and improve pricing strategies.
  9. Stay informed about industry pricing trends and best practices in product pricing methodologies.

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience in product pricing, product management, or related roles, preferably in a similar industry.
  3. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
  4. Experience with pricing software and product analytics tools.
  5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex pricing strategies to stakeholders.
  6. Proven track record of successfully implementing pricing strategies that drive revenue and profitability.
