Assignment Description

We are looking for a Preservation Engineer with experience in construction preservation and maintenance preservation. The role reports to the PWP Construction Manager / Preservation Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Manage preservation activities in conjunction with the construction of wellbay module and PAUs for the process module.
• Support the construction manager/Preservation Lead to achieve overall project goals in meeting Project HSSEQ, Quality, and Schedule requirements.
• Ensure that Contractor’s preservation personnel are mentored in accordance with project requirements.
• Follow up on all preservation activities during construction and delivery to Stord.
• Monitor all preservation activities with emphasis on quality, schedule, and HSE.
• Evaluate build methods and provide improvement suggestions to the Contractor.
• Coordinate construction interface with other disciplines.
• Advise Construction Manager / Preservation Lead about resource needs.
• Work to ensure mechanical completion is achieved with minimal punch listed items, ready for handover to Commissioning.
• Participate in area/system punch-out as required and ensure correct input to MIPS and PIMS.
• Participate in safety and QC walkabouts.
• Review final documentation.
• Promote and drive continuous Construction and MC improvements, sharing learnings between projects (Hugin and PWP).

Qualifications:

• Technical College or equivalent education.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a strong communication ability and a track record in flange management.
• Experience with MIPS/PIMS.
• Knowledge of North Sea principles and standards.
• Ability to implement an efficient HSSEQ culture through the empowerment of managers.
• Good communication skills to ensure messages are heard and understood.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and work with minimal direction.
• Strong relationship builder with interpersonal skills and experience in organizational and people development.
• Ability to deliver according to expectations.
