Key Responsibilities

You will work with the sales team to drive sales using your technical knowledge, your technical account management skills, sales ability, and a strong customer-first focus. He or she will work closely with our Territory Manager in the Middle East to achieve the desired targets.

  1. Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product education, and demo support for Medical Display Products and Solutions as required and help Barco and Partner sales teams with the preparation of tender documents.
  2. Offer support to customers on technical related matters and become a trusted advisor for all critical accounts and prospective customers.
  3. Provide QA instruction and connectivity to end users allowing them to take full advantage of our QA Web platform.
  4. Utilize data metrics in QA platform to engage Barco sales teams, partners, and end users, thereby reviewing their project plans.
  5. Create, manage, and execute on support contracts.
  6. Identify potential end users; work with the Barco and Partner sales teams on planning and organizing sales opportunities.
  7. Manage customer relations by soliciting and logging client feedback. Determine the best solution for the client in collaboration with the Product management team.
  8. Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management.
  9. Position may require up to 70% travel in the region (MEA).
  10. Attend, manage, and participate in all required shows, meetings, and training sessions.
  11. Be familiar with connectivity including inputs/outputs in relation to our products and be able to troubleshoot with customers as needed.
  12. Remain up to date on local regulations in the assigned region.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree; Degree in Engineering or Radiography is a plus.
  2. Experience in a consultative selling environment in the Medical Display Technology Industry.
  3. Good understanding of Medical Imaging Display Technology, Solutions, and Eco System.
  4. Experience in network configuration (e.g. VPN setup, firewall configuration, routing) is preferred.
  5. Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.
  6. Familiar with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  7. Technical curiosity and a natural flair for technical application.
  8. Knowledge of customer service principles and techniques with the ability to analyze and interpret customer requirements, identify issues and problems, and offer appropriate action plans towards resolution.
  9. Able to communicate in Arabic (native) and English.
  10. Experience with Salesforce (CRM), Radiology devices or components is a plus.
  11. Experience in a PSE team is a plus.
  12. Experience in cross-functional matrix organizations.
