Location: Ruwais camp, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Responsibilities:
- Prepare remarkable meals for our clients.
- Weigh, measure, mix, and prep components according to recipes.
- Heavy steam, grill, boil, cook, or fry meats, fish, vegetables, and other components.
- Examine food and ingredients for freshness.
- Arrange and garnish meals.
- Work well under pressure and within time limits.
- Ensure that kitchen area, equipment, and tools are cleaned.
- Help lead and influence our kitchen staff with the restaurant manager.
- Prepare food according to food health and safety standards.
- Suggest ideas for specials or seasonal recipes.
- Sanitize and clean work stations and tools.
- Reorder stock and food supplies.
- Track other chefs and team members.
- Assist other cooks in preparing food or assist other staff members when needed.
Required Skills:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Physical endurance to stand for the entire shift.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
- Able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Able to bend, move, and lift 25 pounds or more.
- Able to read and write.
