Overview:

Our client is seeking a talented Pre-Contract Quantity Surveyor/Cost Planner to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will support high-profile residential and mixed-use developments for renowned local developers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates during the design phase, ensuring alignment with project budgets.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed projects.
3. Advise on procurement strategies and contract arrangements.
4. Manage tendering processes, including preparation of bills of quantities and tender documentation.
5. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and developers to ensure accurate cost control and value engineering.
6. Evaluate contractor bids and provide recommendations based on cost, scope, and schedule considerations.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (BSc).
2. Minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
3. Proven expertise in residential and mixed-use developments.
4. Consultancy experience is highly desirable but not essential.
5. Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi's construction market and regional cost benchmarks.
6. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
