The Job

You will be responsible for:

• Oversee the overall portfolio management and trading on Equity, Structured Products, and Funds, not limiting to oversight of the trade processing of various instruments in International Financial Centre (IFC).
• Assessing the risk assessment and opportunities of the investment portfolio, with good monitoring and identifying buy/sell opportunities based on fundamentals and comparison.
• Monitoring existing portfolios to analyse performance and conduct reports on them with regular updates on investments and portfolio reports.
• Partnering with external counterparties, financial institutions, and service providers to resolve operational issues.
• Manage and deliver returns on portfolios in compliance with regulatory guidelines and processes.

The Profile

• Masters/Bachelor in Accountancy/Business/Finance.
• Minimally 5 years of investment management, trading, or structuring experience, preferably in equities.
• Experience in managing a portfolio of investments either at a private bank, investment management firm, or family office.
• Strong Bloomberg and Excel research capabilities.
• Effectively bilingual.
• SCA Qualifications Requirements (CISI).

The qualifications below must be obtained to be approved by the SCA as the Fund Investment Manager. The governing body that oversees the professional qualifications is the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).

Exams Required for SCA Licence

• UAE Financial Rules and Regulations.
• International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management (Level 3).
• Continuous Professional Development.
• Introduction to Securities & Investments (International).
• Risk in Financial Services.
